From a small group of about 30 show cave owners in 1965, the Association has grown over the years to a membership of over 80 of the best show caves across the United States, Bermuda and Barbados.

We represent the six New England states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont as well as New York State. We also have manufacturer and supplier members that support the industry. NEAAPA follows legislative activity that will influence the attractions industry on local, state and federal levels. Education programs are offered throughout the year covering topics of importance to our members. Social events are held in the Northeast United States and at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida.

  • The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests (the Forest Society) is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 1901 and is devoted to the protection and responsible use of the State’s natural resources. With innovative programs in land protection, easement stewardship, forest management, resource education, and advocacy, the Forest Society is the State's oldest and largest conservation organization. The unusual blend of responsible use and preservation makes the Forest Society unique among conservation and environmental groups. It means advocating ecologically based forest management, including timber harvesting in some areas, as well as promoting wilderness preserves for other special areas. Under the direction of elected officers and trustees, our programs emanate from headquarters in the award-winning passive solar Conservation Center in Concord, and from the Rocks Estate in Bethlehem.

WMAA was designated the State’s official Regional Association for the White Mountains in 1983. The organization operates three marketing divisions and an Attraction: White Mountains Attractions Association, White Mountains Visitor Center, WMAA Brochure Distribution, and Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves.
